About PruneOps

Cloud cost visibility, without the noise

PruneOps gives engineering and finance teams a single pane of glass for cloud cost efficiency — detecting waste, scoring operational health, and tracking every resource across providers, accounts and regions.

Our mission

Cloud bills grow silently. Resources are provisioned for a launch, a test, a migration — and then forgotten. Spread the same waste across several providers, and finance loses the full picture entirely.

We built PruneOps to close that gap: a continuously-updated inventory that not only lists what you have across every cloud you use, but tells you what it costs, whether it's right-sized, and what you could save — all backed by real metrics, not guesswork.

PruneOps reads directly from your cloud providers' read-only APIs and presents actionable findings in a clean, fast dashboard — no agent to install, except for the lightweight, outbound-only one Kubernetes clusters need to report workload metrics.

Principles
  • Metrics over estimates
  • Read-only API access — no agent to install for any cloud provider
  • Pay only for realised savings
  • One provider or ten, same dashboard
  • Infrastructure-as-code first

Inventory

Discovers and syncs resources from every connected provider, on a schedule or on-demand.

Metrics

Pulls real usage time-series (CPU, memory, IOPS, latency…) for trend analysis and anomaly detection.

Optimization

Evaluates metric history against thresholds and turns findings into concrete savings recommendations.

Drift detection

Compares live inventory against Terraform state to surface infrastructure created outside IaC.
