From finding to saving

Analyses look at each resource's usage and configuration and propose concrete actions, each with an estimated monthly saving and a confidence score.

Lifecycle

Active
Current opportunities. Re-running the analysis updates them instead of creating duplicates, and an active recommendation that no longer applies disappears.
Dismissed
Dismiss the ones that do not apply from the resource's Findings tab. Dismissed recommendations are kept as your history and not recreated.
Applied
Applied recommendations are kept too, and the savings you realised are reported month by month.

Two kinds of finding

Savings
Ways to cut a resource's cost, with an estimated monthly saving.
Operational
Reliability, security and compliance issues with no direct saving attached. They feed the Compliance score.

Where to find them

Dashboard
Where to act first: the biggest savings and the most important compliance findings.
Audit
Per area, with savings per resource.
Outside the app
The Telegram /recs command and the MCP server list the top recommendations too.

Acting on a recommendation

A resource's Findings tab: savings and operational recommendations, with the mark as applied and dismiss buttons.
Where
Open a resource, from an Audit page or the dashboard, and go to its Findings tab. The Savings and Operational cards list its active recommendations, each with a title, a description and a confidence score. Savings ones also show the estimated monthly saving.
Confidence
The colour follows the confidence: red from 80%, amber from 50%, blue below that. The higher it is, the surer the analysis is that the recommendation applies.
Do it yourself
The app never changes your cloud. Make the change where you manage it (the cloud console, Terraform, a script) and then come back.
Mark as applied
On a savings recommendation, press the check and confirm. We verify it on the next inventory sync, which runs hourly; if the resource already shows the change, the saving is recorded straight away. Operational findings can only be dismissed.
Detected automatically
You do not have to press it: when the recommended change shows up in your inventory (for example the resource is gone) the saving is recorded anyway.
Dismiss
The cross on a card dismisses that recommendation; Dismiss all on the Savings card dismisses all of the resource's savings ones. Dismissed ones are kept as history and not recreated.

Seeing what you saved

Realized Savings: the optimizations carried out, with the saving each one generated.
Realized Savings
In the sidebar. It lists the optimizations that were carried out and the monthly saving each generated, with the total Saved to date and a yearly projection (monthly savings x 12).
